Here is my dads sportster. I have never rode one before until the other day. I had always assumed these bikes would have "Balls To The Wall" but it didn't have much low end torque. He's under the impression this is a race version of the sportster, what do ya think?

That's a nice bike. I'm really not into the Harleys and choppers and such. Don't get me wrong, I like them but if I was going to buy a bike it would be crotch rocket. I don't think I'd enjoy kicking back on a bike as much as I would white knuckling it and trying to hold on, LOL. I gotta have that low end torque too. I don't really need to go 200mph, but getting from 0 - 60 in 3 seconds is a hell of a rush!

That's for sure!! I have sat on them crotch rockets before and they don't seem that comfortable.

Nice bike, I like the 'fatter' Harleys though. And being an owner of a crotch rocket, I definitely agree with buz, but when I get to my 50's.... scratch that, 60's I'm going to get myself a Harley and just cruise...

And as for the comfortability of crotch rockets, yup they are not comfortable, and if you ride for a long time, your wrists are going to be sore, until you get use to it.

I promised myself I would not own a bike until my kids are grown. Then I'm going to tear it up, lol.

And that's if you snip your wires, or tie the Mrs.'s tubes... otherwise, you could be waiting longer...

Yeah, I'm trying to talk her into getting spayed but she wants more. No way in hell I'm having more. She's gotta find a dumber man than me, lol.
