Re: 02 Honda Accord
Nice ride. Lot's of potential. I'd post up a pic of mine but who wants to see a minivan with a missing hubcap, lol. Everything I drive has to carry four kids and sometimes a dog. Going to wait until next year to buy another but it will be another van.

Re: 02 Honda Accord
Thanks guys, nah I took it to a tint shop, they charged me $145. Funny thing is that it was 6 years ago, and when we took my wife's Expedition in 06 they charged the same, go figure.
Yeah Buz, post it up, hahahaha.

Re: 02 Honda Accord
Yeah, it looks pretty easy, and I helped my cousin do it once way back in the day. But I don't know how his looked after time passed. The place I went guarantees that you won't get air pockets or they'll re-do it for free for the lifetime of the car, as long as it's still yours that is.

Re: 02 Honda Accord
That's a hell of a guarantee..Can't beat that.
The biggest problem I had was around the edge of the glass in the doors, It kept peeling up..

Re: 02 Honda Accord
Did you take the door panels off? That's what they do, they take off all the door panels, and the "back dashboard?" where the brake light is, they get all of that out of the way.

Re: 02 Honda Accord
No, I sure didn't. I didn't even attempt the back window either.
Maybe I'll try again with my silverado, the first one was a cavalier.

Re: 02 Honda Accord
Yeah, I think the back window is the hardest on a car, it's all cramped back there as it is, and then you have to hold up the film while you squeegy out the spray (my cousin had used water mixed with shampoo).

Re: 02 Honda Accord
Yup, I was like WTF?? And then he put a silver color first, then the black tint on top, and it gave the silver color on the top 1/3 section of the window, and the rest black. This was way back in the summer of '92 though.

Re: 02 Honda Accord
Heck yeah, that would be sweet. Have you seen the ones where the tint is cut out like flames?
Re: 02 Honda Accord
yeah, those are cool. Have you seen the chrome grills that are flames or a skull? I saw an F150 with a grill that was skull and bones, it was pretty sweet.
